In practice, however, numerous disadvantages of such a roll bending have been shown. The control of the bending rollers is relatively complicated. In addition, restrictions arise in the cross-sectional geometry of the profile body. Furthermore, it is disadvantageous that the bending rollers can not or only with great effort can be exchanged in order to bend other profile body can. In addition, the space requirement of the bending rollers is disadvantageous.
It is an object of the invention to mitigate or eliminate the disadvantages of the prior art. The invention is therefore in particular for the purpose of creating an efficient, versatile, nonetheless structurally simple bending device of the type mentioned, with which profile elements of different cross-sectional geometries can be bent easily and in various ways.
This object is achieved by a device as specified in claim 1. Advantageous embodiments and further developments are defined in the dependent claims.
According to the invention, it is thus provided in the generic device, in particular, that the holder has a passage in section adapted to the profile of the profile workpiece for the profile workpiece, on whose outlet side a counter tool for the profile workpiece is formed during its bending, wherein the bending tool is drivable relative to this counter tool.
With the bending device according to the invention elongated or elongated profile workpieces can be bent in a particularly simple manner, with the bending tool, preferably in the form of a bending mandrel, a variety of geometries can be generated. For this purpose, a rod or strand material forming the profile workpiece is provided, which can be selected according to the respective application from the materials mentioned in AT 507 888 Bl. In a preferred embodiment, the holder is stationary, i. stationary during bending, arranged. Of course, however, the holder or its bearing part, if one is provided, also basically stationary, without possibility of adjustment, such as shifting or twisting, be arranged, whereby otherwise a comparatively smaller dimensions, a particularly stable arrangement can be ensured in a simple manner.
As already briefly stated above, the holder can be easily tubular, whereby a very efficient construction can be achieved. The tubular shape does not have to have the same diameter or the same cross section over the entire length of the holder, but can also have different diameters or cross sections, for example in order to be able to accommodate other units, as will be explained in more detail below.
The present bending device is particularly suitable for bending extruded profiles, ie extrusion profiles, which are processed in a line containing an extruder with an extrusion tool and the bending device. It can certainly also be provided to trudate the profile workpieces after Ex, still with sufficient heat and thus plasticity to bend, but usually it is usually advantageous to heat the profile workpiece before bending (again) ; Accordingly, the holder preferably has a heating device, wherein this heating device, for example, outside the holder or preferably inside can be mounted in the holder. In the case of housing the heater inside the holder, it is favorable for optimum space utilization when the heater is disposed on the wall of the passage of the holder.
In order to fix the still located in the interior of the holder part of the profile workpieces during bending, it is also advantageous if the holder is assigned a locking device for the profile workpiece.
Similarly, if the feed from the extruder is not sufficient, the holder can be associated with a workpiece feed device, for example with pinch rollers. For an additional increase in flexibility when bending the workpieces, it is also advantageous if the holder or a separate front or inner bearing part thereof is adjustably arranged, for example, rotatable and / or longitudinally displaceable.
The passage in the holder may, similar to the heater, be discontinuous, but it may also be formed for reasons of good support and leadership of the profile workpieces by a continuous profile channel.
The bending tool may be designed in the manner of a bending mandrel, but it may in particular have at least one workpiece gripping element in order to positively grasp the profile workpieces to be bent and thus achieve a directed bending in a simple manner. In order to capture the respective profile workpiece while in the desired orientation, the workpiece gripping element can also be arranged to be movable in the region of the bending tool.
For the purpose of adaptation to differently dimensioned and profiled profile workpieces, it is also advantageous if the gripping element is detachably arranged. As a result, the gripping element or the gripping elements can be exchanged, for example, for different profile workpieces that are to be bent, against another, adapted gripper element.
The bending tool can be arranged for design reasons, as well as in view of the desired movements of the bending tool when bending in a separate bearing head or bending head, preferably rotatable. Furthermore, it is also favorable for achieving different bending operations when the bending tool is arranged to be pivotable about at least one axis.
As such, depending on the desired bending operations, the bending tool could also be moved only translationally, possibly with a rotation about its own axis, when profile workpieces are to be bent. In order to also allow other movements in space to achieve spatial bending (3D bending), it is beneficial if the bending tool is carried by a turntable base.
With regard to such 3D bending operations in an efficient manner, it is also advantageous if the bending tool is arranged on a gel karmstruktur rotatable about a plurality of axes. It is also advantageous if the turntable base carries the bending tool via pivotally connected articulated arms. Moreover, it is favorable here if one of the articulated arms is rotatably arranged on the turntable base.
It has been found that a thermoplastic material, especially if it is heated in the region of the holder shortly before bending, can extend from the type of swelling. As a result, the passage of the holder, i. whose dimensioning in the transverse direction, no longer optimally match the cross-sectional dimensions of the profile workpieces. To remedy this situation, the passage can easily be adapted to a muzzle adaptable to cross-sectional changes of the profile workpiece, e.g. in the manner of a louver aperture.

The actual bending tool 3 is rotatable or pivotable about, for example, a total of six axes 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 and 11, as indicated in Fig. 1 with corresponding double arrows 6 to 11.
